Cloud-based full disk encryption system targets small to medium businesses

Authentication and endpoint protection solutions provider DigitalPersona has launched DigitalPersona Pro Workgroup SaaS, a cloud-based full disk encryption product targeted to small and medium-sized businesses.

The product has out-of-the-box compatibility with PCs running Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. It functions through a cloud-based Web console where administrators can configure, enforce and report on disk encryption policies, as well as recover access to locked computers.


Annual subscriptions for Pro Workgroup SaaS start at $24 per computer. DigitalPersona offers additional features for the product, including strong authentication, password management and access control solutions. Prices for these options vary, but the full system with all extras comes in at $48 annually per computer. [end] 

GoldKey Security Corporation has announced that is will support two-factor authentication for Cisco’s upcoming release of its AnyConnect Secure Mobility VPN Client.

GoldKey’s security tokens with Elliptic Curve Cryptography capabilities can be used with the VPN client’s encryption of IP traffic based on the Suite B set of encryption algorithms designated by the National Security Agency (NSA) for Department of Defense communications.
