AVAST Software introduces password manager app

Tuesday, September 20, 2011

Prague-based AVAST Software has released avast! EasyPass, a password manager application that helps people better manage the passwords they use to register at Web sites.

The application works when a person first registers with a Web site. The application remembers the username and password. EasyPass can also remember data inputted into forms and synchronize it with the appropriate password, allowing users to save time with one-click data entry.

To protect the data stored on the app, EasyPass uses a password generator and military-grade encryption algorithms such as Blowfish and AES. Users may access their saved passwords via any Internet connection. [end]
