Georgia SoftWorks has added Digital Certificate Authentication (DCA) to its SSH Server to increase security and facilitate digital certificate management. This security feature will be available to SAP and ERP mobile device users in data collection, warehousing, logistics and manufacturing settings.
The SSH Server DCA simplifies PKI security by providing user authentication through mapping the client digital certificate to a Windows user account. Administrators can configure one-to-one and many-to-one mappings through a Windows IIS.
Georgia SoftWorks is able to address many of the issues with regular public keys through a protocol base of x509v3-sign-rsa and x509v3-sign-dss SSH authentication standards that use digital certificates.
